Anthony Losi, 71, of Newburgh passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday November 25, 2021. He was born on September 13, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY to Angelo Losi and the late Angelina Mazzola Losi.
In addition his father, Anthony is survived by his loving wife Joann (Giummo) Losi of 49 years. Anthony is a loving father to his daughter Danielle Losi, his sons Anthony Losi, Joseph Losi and his wife Danielle. Loving grandfather to Vincent Anthony, Adrianna, Rosina Donna, Domenica Losi, his brother Joseph and sister in law Patty Losi, sister Linda and her husband Phil Miglorie, and many nieces and nephews.
Anthony was retired from Verizon of 28 years, he is an avid fisherman, hunter and a sports enthusiast. Anthony coached M & B Basketball and also coached Marlboro little league baseball and softball for years. In the words of his family, “The father that put his family always first”
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7p.m. on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Hudson Valley Funeral Home 239 Quassaick Avenue (Rte94) New Windsor, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday December 2, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Church, 55 Grand St., Newburgh. Private cremation will follow at Cedar Hill Crematory.
