FRANCES KNIGHT January 29, 1931 - January 16, 2019 Newburgh, NY Frances Knight of the Town of Newburgh, a retired cafeteria worker for the Newburgh City School District, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 87. The daughter of the late William and Frances Florie, she was born on January 29, 1931, in Lodi, NJ. She was the widow of Joseph M. Knight. She is survived by her son Joseph Knight and his wife, Lisa of New Windsor and daughter Frances Becker and her husband, Robert of Wallkill, her brother Andrew Florie of Florida, her grandchildren Robert John and Eric Becker, Kristie Mazzaccari, Maggie Macri and Kate Knight and her great-grandchildren Madilyn and Alexandra Becker and several nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her daughter Regina Ann Redner and her brother William Florie. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, January 21, at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, 239 Quassaick Avenue (Rte94) New Windsor, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 22, at St. Francis Church in Newburgh. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hudson Valley Funeral Home, 845-562-4411.
