Florence C. Marotta of New Windsor, NY a retired teacher at St. Francis of Assisi School passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at St. Luke’s Cornwall hospital Newburgh. She was 91.
Florence is the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina D’Ambrosio. She was born on April 8, 1927, in Brooklyn, NY. She was a painter at Bethlehem Art Gallery, she enjoyed sewing, Opera, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Florence was predeceased by her husband Michael Marotta and her daughter Susan Warner.
She is survived by one daughter Michelle Marotta with Dominic D’Agosta of New Windsor, NY, one grandson Andrew Warner of Alexandria, VA
Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, January 7, 2019, at St. John’s Cemetery Middle Village Queens, NY
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hudson Valley Funeral Home 239 Quassaick Ave, New Windsor, NY
