Obituary of Teresa Baruffaldi

TERESA BARUFFALDI "NONNI" October 23, 1927 - November 20, 2018 New Windsor, NY It is with great sadness to announce the passing on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, of Mrs. Teresa Baruffaldi of New Windsor NY, affectionately known as “Nonni”. Teresa is the daughter of Giulio and Maddelina Bariletti. She was 91 years old. Born in Italy on October 23, 1927, her life journey brought her to the United States where she lovingly raised her family and became a U.S. citizen. She will always be remembered as a kind person who always had time chat and help others. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and especially her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, "Danny" Baruffaldi and brothers, Eligio and Tony Bariletti. Survivors include daughter, Marilyn Oates and husband, Jack; son, Peter Baruffaldi and wife, Doreen; brother, Firmo Bariletti and wife, Sally; five grandchildren: Daniel Baruffaldi and wife, Kelly, Christine Lopes and husband, Nicholas, Jacqueline Baruffaldi and fiancé, Stephen Hayenhjelm, Michael Oates and fiancé, Debra DePalma, and Kevin Oates; three great-grandchildren: Vincent and Bridget Baruffaldi and Peyton Lopes. The family would like to thank Middletown Park Manor Rehab and Health Care Center for their kindness, care, and comfort. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27 at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, 239 Quassaick Ave., New Windsor NY 12553. A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home followed by entombment at Cedar Hill Cemetery Mausoleum Newburgh. “Grace and Peace to you, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
