ELEANOR LEOCE September 7, 1931 - September 26, 2018 Myrtle Beach, SC - Formerly of Newburgh, NY Eleanor Leoce 87, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at her home in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born on September 7, 1931, in Potsdam New York to the late Burton and Frances Lincoln. Along with her parents, Eleanor is reunited with her beloved husband of 42 years, Mr. Albert Joseph Leoce, Sr. Eleanor was a spirited woman with a heart of gold. She was a member of the Elks in Myrtle Beach and was proud to be the first woman to ever hold the distinction of Exalted Ruler of the Elks in Florida. Even though gambling and bingo were two of her favorite past times, her true love in life was her family. Left to cherish Eleanor’s memory are her children: Valarie Robinson of New Windsor, Stephanie Yonnone and husband, Cossie Yonnone of New Windsor, and Al Leoce of South Carolina; her grandchildren: Merilee, Christopher, Lisa, and Hannah; her great-grandchildren: Hailey, Braeden, Nicholas, and Dylan; her sister, Jo Ann Sieja of Pennsylvania; as well as several nieces and nephews, and many supportive friends and neighbors. A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 14th at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc., located at 239 Quassaick Avenue, New Windsor, NY.
