Michael Crawford of Middletown, NY a retired Math Teacher for Minisink Valley High School, passed away on November 23, 2024 at Garnet Hospital. He was 67.
Michael is the son of the late Rodman D. and Helga Crawford. he was born on December 6, 1956 in Newburgh, NY
Michael is survived by his sister Helga B. Crawford of New Windsor, NY.
Michael was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and SUNY Oneonta in the studies of mathematics.
Michael greatly enjoyed his tenure with Minisink Valley High School, where he gained lifelong friends. He was very proud to help the many students that passed through his classroom for 33 years. He taught with passion, conviction and humor.
Michael was equally passionate for attending music concerts, Yankee games and all things collectible for Star Trek and Peanuts, and caring for his “pet” Rocky.
Visitation will be held form 4-6pm on Monday December 2, 2024 at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue New Windsor, NY 12553.
A Funeral service will take place at 11a.m. on Tuesday December 3, at the funeral home, burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery New Windsor, NY.
