Obituary of Joseph V Tinelli Jr.

Joseph V. Tinelli Jr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Manhattan, New York, Joseph was the son of Katherine Theohare and Joseph V. Tinelli Sr. He was a dedicated member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict, a period that exemplified his unwavering commitment and bravery. Joseph's passion for life was evident in his love for the New York Yankees, whose games he followed with great enthusiasm. He found immense joy in spending time outdoors and treasured the moments shared with his family. His greatest pride was his role as a grandfather to Aaron and Hudson, whose lives he enriched with his warmth and wisdom. Joseph is survived by his devoted wife, AnnaMaria; his loving daughter, Katherine; his son Nicholas and wife Kimberly; his two grandchildren, Aaron and Hudson; and his sister Christine. He was predeceased by his brother Peter. Joseph leaves behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and love that will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on Thursday, August 29th, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hudson Valley Funeral Home in New Windsor, NY. A funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Entombment will take place on Friday August 30, 2024 at Cedar Hill Mausoleum at 10:30 a.m. with military honors. Joseph's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
