Anne M. McClellan of New Windsor, NY passed away peacefully on Friday February 2, 2024. She was 97. Anne was born on October 16, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Emanuel and Anna (Harney) Lambert. After high school Anne was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. where she worked until her retirement. She met and married Donald M. McClellan, they moved to Newburgh, NY briefly before moving to New Windsor, NY where they lived many years.
Anne is survived by nieces: Joan Woods of Jeffersonville, NY; Carol (Steve) Corio of Plainview, NY; Kathleen (Adam) Levine of Mars PA; nephews: Mark (Dell) Lambert of Palm Coast FL; James (Sandy) Lambert of Smithtown, NY; and many other nieces, nephews and grandnieces. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, and brothers: Francis Lambert and Robert Lambert and niece: Maryalice Feldman and others too many to name.
Visitation will be held from 1-4pm on Friday February 9, at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, 239 Quassaick Ave New Windsor, NY 12553. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday February 10 at St. Francis of Assisi Church Newburgh, NY. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery New Windsor, NY.
