I first met Ann at work in LA in the early ‘80s and was in touch periodically ever since although not in the last year or so. I am so sad to hear of her passing. Ann faced almost unbearable challenges after the car accident but in my experience was never calmer or happier in those years than when talking about going on mail delivery routes with her father when she was a kid, or about the history of the neighborhood where she grew up. Ann was quite a character. I wish her peace.
