Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Albrechtsen of New Windsor, NY a retired Central Hudson Gas Lineman, an area resident for 50 years passed away on Wednesday May 24, 2023 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Newburgh. He was 75. Ronald is the son of Olive Stellges.
He was born on April 1, 1948 in Queens, NY, and was a member of IBEW for over 35 years, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Albrechtsen, son Jason Albrechtsen, grandchildren Mitchell and Kendall Albrechtsen, brother Robert Albrechtsen, sister Joyce Eaton (Howard), sister-in- law Ellie Spreer. 2 nieces and 2 nephews
Visitation will be Wednesday May 31, 2023 from 6-8pm with a 7:30pm service at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue New Windsor, NY 12553 with Pastor Carlos Figueroa officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Cancer Research Hospital, or Tunnel to Towers.
