Jim spent his life as a servant of the Lord. He worked for 26 years serving the community as a police officer with Metro North until he retired in 2000. Jim served his country and was honorably discharged in 1978 from New York Army Reserves National Guard as an MP. He coached and served on the board for New Windsor Little League for 15 years.
Jim was a selfless man. He would never hesitate to help someone in need. To honor Jim’s memory, the family asks that you chose kindness and love and help someone less fortunate with a selfless act.
Jim’s family would like to thank his physician Dr. Bambino, the New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corp and the New Windsor Police Department, as well as the amazing staff at St. Luke’s. We especially want to thank his nurse Nadine G. for caring for Jim and his family through this difficult time.
