Margaret Kakerbeck, 98, of Washingtonville formerly of Cornwall, NY died on Tuesday December 7, 2021. Margaret is survived by her son Robert, and daughter-in-law Kyoko, granddaughters Akiko and Maya, and three great granddaughters. She was predeceased by her dear husband Jack and her beloved son Jim.
The daughter of the late Frank and Emily Blenkhorn, she was born in Halstead, England. She came to the United States in 1948 newly married to Jack, and became a U.S. citizen in 2003.
Margaret was a dedicated and beloved real estate agent for 30 years. Always appreciative and gracious, and loved by so many…
She loved listening to audio books and music. Lately, she enjoyed sing Christmas carols with us. Now she sings with angels! She was blind, but now can see – and she is home!
A memorial service will be 12 noon on Saturday April 2, 2022 at Hudson Valley Funeral Home Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue New Windsor, NY 12553. Interment of the cremains will follow at Willow Dell Cemetery for the family.
