Obituary of Helen B Simanoski

Helen B. (Jaroscsak) Simanoski of New Windsor, NY a retired sewing machine operator for Dubett Bags in Newburgh, passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021, she was 99. Helen is the daughter of the late Joseph and Katia (Greca) Jaroscsak. She was born on November 7, 1921 in Roseton, NY; and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Roseton, and St. Francis Church of Assisi Church in Newburgh. Helen is the widow of Edward A. Simamoski, she is survived by her daughter Josephine (Simanoski) Przebieglec and her husband Edward C. of Ramsey, NJ; grandchildren Stephanie Fenlon (Robert), Michael Przebieglec (Amy), Joseph Przebieglec, Edward A. Przebieglec. Great grandchildren Evan and Ethan Przebieglec, and many nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her siblings Joseph Jaroscsal (Charlotte), Elizabeth Gallage (Carmen), Mary Venuti (Edward). Visitation will be held from 2-5pm on Sunday March 14, 2021 at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue (Rte94) New Windsor, NY 12553.Please know that there is an occupancy limitation which may cause a wait time, please be respectful of your time visiting. Facial covering must be worn in the funeral home at all times, and social distancing must be practiced. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Monday March 15, at St. Francis of Assisi Church Newburgh. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Burial of ashes will be at a later date.
