Susan M. Plona of Wappinger’s Falls, NY formerly of Cornwall-on Hudson, NY a nurses aid for 28 years at Cornwall Hospital, passed away on Sunday July 11, 2021 at Fishkill Rehabilitation Center, she was 65. Sue is the daughter of the late Albert Plona and Margaret Fanning. Sue was born on December 24, 1955 at Cornwall Hospital. She was a member of the Thursday Ladies Night Go Bowling League for years, and the Riverteirs in Newburgh.
A loving sister, aunt, and cousin. Kind and giving. You could find her fishing at the river and Rings Pond.
Sue is survived her sisters Peggy (Charlie) Milich, and Nancy (Terry) Calamari, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial visitation will be held from 9 to 10 am followed by a funeral service at 10 am on Friday July 16, 2021 at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc. 239 Quassaick Avenue (Rte. 94). Burial of ashes will follow in Calvary Cemetery New Windsor, NY.
