Obituary of Lauren H. Douglas

In Loving Memory of Lauren Hunter Douglas Lauren H. Douglas, 29, entered into rest on Saturday March 7, 2026, she was the daughter of Robert F. and Rachael S. Douglas of New Windsor, NY. Lauren was born on October 5, 1996 in Cortland Manor, NY. At a young age Lauren had a special interest in the health and safety of the elderly and individuals in need. This special trait of Lauren’s carried over in adulthood where she earned her LPN degree from the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology dedicating her life in caring for the elderly in rehabilitation and long term care. Lauren will always be remembered by her family members and friends for her beautiful smile and her willingness to step in to help others in need, often putting her own needs on hold. Lauren will forever have a special place in the hearts and memory of all who shared her life together. Lauren is survived by her two children Myla Conklin and Krystopher Conklin of Bathe, ME, brothers Robert F. Douglas of Branford, CT, Michael J. Douglas of Waterbury, CT. Grandfather Richard Dillin of Adams, NY, Rosalyn Albanese of Fort Lauderdale, FL, aunts Michelle Olsen of Sarasota, FL, Donna Douglas of NY and Theresa Travis of Fishkill NY and numerous uncles and cousins. Lauren was predeceased by her aunt Lottera Jones, uncles Donald T. Douglas and Stephen J. Douglas and grandparents Florence Douglas and Robert J Douglas and great grandmother Lorraine Simon. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 15 from 3pm to 7pm at The Hudson Valley Funeral Home located at 239 Quassaick Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553. Phone 845-562-4411. A funeral mass will be held on Monday March 16, 2026 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church 301 Ann St Newburgh, NY with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery New Windsor, NY.
