Patrick J. Shaughnessy, 60, of Newburgh, NY entered into rest on Monday, October 13, 2025. Pat was born on February 2, 1965, he was the son of Michael and Doris Shaughnessy, Sr.
Pat was predeceased by his wife Marie, sister Joanne Bazzurro and his parents Michael and Doris.
Upon his graduation from NFA, he worked for Crossley Construction and was retired from the City of Newburgh DPW, where he had many friends.
Pat was well known for wearing a pink hat in remembrance of his wife Marie who passed from cancer.
He is survived by his brother Michael and his wife Toni (LaRocca), niece and nephew, Jaclyn and Michael and his wife Danielle Shaughnessy, his nieces, Jennifer and Tiffany Bazzurro. Pat had 3 great nieces and 3 great nephews, and a great great niece and nephew. And his best friend of many years, George Garrison.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Hudson Valley Funeral Home 239 Quassaick Avenue (Rt 94) New Windsor, NY
